JOB SUMMARY
METI Trading Plc is seeking a highly motivated and organized candidate for the Nurse position, playing a crucial role in ensuring the health and safeties. The Nurse provides medical care, support, and education while implementing strategies to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses. This role is essential for maintaining a healthy people with a strong focus on providing medical care and promoting wellness.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
Core activities and obligations include, but are not limited to:
- Provide immediate medical care to individuals who sustain injuries or fall ill.
- Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify potential health risks and hazards.
- Perform regular inspections to identify health and safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy laws.
- Coordinate wellness programs to promote physical and mental well-being.
- Provide guidance and support to employees during their recovery process.
- Collaborate with external healthcare providers and specialists for appropriate medical care and treatment.
- Perform other tasks as directed by immediate supervisors.
Required Skills, Attitudes, And Attributes
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent assessment & critical thinking skills to identify and address potential health & safety risks.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and tools for health assessments and screenings.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and other healthcare software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information with discretion.
- Effective problem-solving skills to resolve workplace health and safety issues.
- Knowledge of emergency response and first aid procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make logical and timely decisions.
- Counseling skills.
Salary: Negotiable based on work experience.
Place of work: Addis Ababa.

Resident Place: the candidates resides in Bole Sub-city areas are Preferable.
About You
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
- B.Sc. Degree or College Diploma (TVET Level IV) with Certificate of Competency (COC) from a recognized university in Nursing or related fields. Industrial Health Care Training is highly desirable.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of work experience for B.Sc. Degree holders or a minimum of 5 years of work experience for Level IV/Diploma holders.
