Reports to Finance Manager, General Manager and Managing Director
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: For Six months Contract and possibility for permanent.
Belayab Pharmaceuticals Plc. (referred to as Belayab Pharmaceuticals from now on) is looking for an accountant.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Posting and recording daily Financial Transactions
- Complying with all financial regulations.
- Compiling, Posting, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
- Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
- Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, Income Statement, Cash Flow, profit & loss statements, weekly / Monthly and quarterly closing etc.
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
- Computing taxes and handling all matters related to customs
- Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 1-3 years or above experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical retail, imports and distribution
Skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
- Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
- Peachtree software trained
- Team worker and diligence
- Attention to detail.
- Analytical skills
