Integrated Family Service Organization (IFSO) is a local not-for-profit and Non-governmental Organization working towards the protection and empowerment of needy Children, destitute Women, Families and the Community. Our organization is currently looking for administrative Officer.

The administrative Officer reports to Admin & Finance Head and works in collaboration with both Finance administration and the project staff. The administrative Officer is responsible for providing full range of general administrative services in order to ensure that services are provided in an effective and efficient manner.

Major duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the team and department
  • Maintain a proper and user-friendly filling and document control system for recording and tracking of all documents
  • Prepare, control and maintain a proper staff attendance sheet,
  • Facilitate vacancies, assign team and process to recruit new staff,
  • Assist with purchase and coordination of office supplies
  • Management and organization of storage areas
  • Responsible for creating and documenting weekly all-staff meeting
  • Facilitate general office equipment & vehicle maintenance
  • Maintaining appropriate staff filing systems.
  • Provide regular progress reports to project coordinator timely;
  • will perform other duties assigned by the organization’ management

Terms of Employments: One year contract with the possibility of extension.

Place of Work: Addis Ababa

About You

Qualification: 

  • B.A. Management and /related social science discipline
  • 5 and above work experience

Required Skills to all positions: 

  • Good command of English Language (communication)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good report writing skills, attention to details and deadline- oriented

  • Office suites (MS Office, iWork)
  • Communication
  • Attention to detail
