International Development Enterprises (iDE) is an international NGO dedicated to creating income and livelihood opportunities for poor rural households of Ethiopia through various projects implemented in different parts of the country. Currently, iDE has secured funding from the Development Fund of Norway for implementation of the project known as Climate Adaptation and Rural Development (CARD II). The Project will be implemented in four woredas (Aleltu & Kimbibit of North and Add’aa & Gimbichu of East Shoa Zones), Oromia Regional State. We are seeking to recruit qualified and experienced personnel for the positions specified hereunder. Key Responsibilities
The Agri Business and Natural Resource Management Facilitator will be responsible to support farmers improve agricultural productivity and ensure food security through improved agronomic and sustainable land and water management practices. More specifically, he/she will be responsible to provide training and on-going extension advice, facilitate access to agricultural inputs and technologies, and to promote improved soil fertility management and on-farm water conservation practices within the premise of climate smart agriculture. He/she will work closely with the government agricultural extension systems.

Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Plant Science, General Agriculture, Agricultural Extension or related fields.
- At least 3 years for Degree and 5 years for Diploma direct experience, respectively in working in rural areas and with smallholder farmers as an extension agent, market facilitator, etc.
- NGO experience is of a great advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to speak Afan Oromo is compulsory.
- Sociable and team player.
- Highly motivated, result-oriented with the ability to handle intense pressure, willing to work in rural areas on a day-to-day basis.
- Motor bicycle driving license is compulsory.
