The European Union Business Forum in Ethiopia is an independent institution established to support European companies operating in Ethiopia. It offers networking opportunity, advocacy services as well as produce empirical reports that support the continuous improvement of the business climate. With the expansion of work portfolios and joint projects, the EUBFE would like to hire assistant manager to support the executive director in the daily dunning of the office as well as its core business.

Under the supervision of the executive director, the successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following tasks

  • Provide monthly business climate analysis report
  • Support in the planning and execution of events and consultations
  • Liaise with member companies and other stakeholders
  • Overlook the finances of the institution in tandem with the financial manager
  • Provide timely activity report to the executive director
  • Accomplish similar tasks as assigned by the executive director

Job Requirements

  • University degree in economics and social sciences, Masters is an advantage
  • At least three years of work experience; work experience in consultancy environment a plus
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability and experience in writing professional level reports
  • Ability to do assignments with minimal supervision
  • Proactive, flexible and have experience working in a multicultural setting
