Job Description

  • Setout strategies to implement athlete biological passport enforce its effectiveness;
  • Cause the establishment of athlete biological passport management unit (APMU) and expertise panel; make, from time to time capacity building activities carried out;
  • Analyze the existing efficiency and effectiveness; identify and submit athletes who are legible to the data base RTP and issuance of biological passports;
  • Follow up providing support in searching whereabouts information regarding those athletes who are registered in database RTP for the issuance of biological passports;
  • Carryout intelligence activities to collect the current performance of athletes by undertaking medical examinations upon various athletes;
  • Preparing examination plans by establishing a baseline on those athletes which are found at the highest level of efficiency demonstrated in competitions carried out from time to time; implements it when permitted;
  • Follow up the test results of athletes based on their level of vulnerability; compiles and submits reports;
  • Prepares hematology and steroid profile and submits to the athlete biological passport management unit and the expertise panel;
  • Prepares and submits additional relevant information upon the request of   athlete biological passport management unit and the expertise panel;
  • Creates conducive situations to organize athlete biological passport management unit and the expertise panel meetings; coordinates such meetings;
  • Keeps records of minutes of athlete biological passport management unit and the expertise panel meetings;
  • Creates the necessary network with different local and international stakeholders; provides the necessary information from time to time;
  • Works in coordination with different internal and external stakeholders;
  • Makes clarity on athlete biological passport program;
  • Compiles performance reports from time to time and submits to his immediate supervisor;

Handle all other activities assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of  BA Degree in Degree in Public Health, Medical Doctor, Bachelor of Science in Medicine
  • 8 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
