We are looking for an experienced Chief Human Resource Officer to help our company develop and implement a strategic roadmap. You will be entrusted with developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders, and the board of directors.

General Duties and Responsibilities of the CHRO:

  • Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company’s mission and strategic vision.
  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
  • Oversee the digitization of company infrastructure and employee practices
  • Being a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
  • Work with the company’s executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits globally.
  • Contribute to a healthy corporate culture that supports growth and equal opportunity;
  • Acting as an excellent brand ambassador at all times;

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

  • PhD/ MBA and /or BA in Human Resource and Management, Administration, and related social fields. 5+ years  for MBA, and above 8 years for BA with direct and proven experience in Strategic Human Resource Management.
  • Proven experience in human resource management in the International and NGO sector;
  • Senior professional in human resources (SPHR) certificate, human resource information professional (HRIP) certificate, or similar may be advantageous.
  • Experience in full-cycle retention, training and development, and capacity building;
  • Vast knowledge of labor laws and HR functions.
  • Working knowledge of HR software
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards;
  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles;
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases;
  • Excellent communicator;
  • Well-organized;
  • A leader and strategic thinker;
