Premier Switch Solutions S.C. (PSS) is a leading Electronic Payment Processing Company, established by major private banks of Ethiopia. The Company has implemented the first multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure to provide its member banks with a state of the art payment technology to drive ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking and other payment channels and provide clearing of Debit/Credit card transactions for the banks. Currently, PSS has one vacant position stated below and would like to invite applicants who meet the qualification and required experience listed for this job opening.

Description of Duties

  •   Lead to align the formulation and implementation of the corporate operations strategies
  •    Ensure the development and implementation of harmonized Operational policies, procedures and system rule through the continuous review.
  •   Ensure operational efficiencies and high customer satisfaction on PSS’s product & services.
  •   Ensure the existence of robust transaction dispute management and fraud monitoring.
  •   Lead for the successful delivery of concept development, projects, technology opportunities, product and services.
  •  Lead the adoption of innovative product and services in alignment with customers.
  •  Ensure the development of fees and charges for products and services provided to customer.
  •  Ensure PSS fees and charges are in alignment with the market and lead periodic revision
  •  Lead the development, review and document service level agreement and operation level agreement and enforce its implementation.
  •  Lead the continuous improvement of the operations activity ensuring customers’ needs are satisfactorily met.
  •  Oversee the operations risks are managed.
  •  Lead to align the implementation of performance management along with the relevant work units.
  •  Ensure periodic performance metrics are conducted across work units.
  •  Design capacity planning for all types of resources.
  •  Ensure and coordinate to build business continuity.
  •  Lead incident response and problem management team.
  •  Ensure knowledge bases are built from the lessons learned.
  • Support the Chief Executive Officer in the implementation of the corporate strategy.
  •  Ensure periodic budgets are prepared timely and maintains quality.
  •  Provide and ensure regular training, coaching and mentoring of employees towards effective career development
  •  Review and design report templates and ensure the periodic reports are delivered timely and maintains quality.
  •  Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Salary: As per the Company scale with attractive benefit package

About You

Qualification 

  •  Bachelors’ degree in ICT, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or a related field.
  •  At least 10 years’ experience, 4 of which should have been in a senior managerial role.
  •  Experience in developing and implementing operation strategies..
  •  Experience in project management and governance.
  •  Experience in operations and service delivery.
  •  Experience in the banking industry or digital payment environment is preferable.
  •  Knowledge of latest development in digital payment systems and retail banking is preferable;
  •  Relevant certifications are advantageous.
