Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia is a pioneer Family planning and SRH organization established in 1966.  FGAE is an indigenous non-government organization which has been working to promote Sexual Reproductive Health and Family Planning rights and services. It has been collaboratively working with the government, CSOs and community-based organizations in areas of family planning, SRH, HIV/AIDS, and other interventions focusing on women, youth and the wider community. Women Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) project is a global initiative encompassing many countries in the sub-Saharan African regions to implement WISH2ACTION program.n FGAE seeks to employ qualified and competent professionals for the following vacant posts:

Major Duties and Responsibility

  •  Facilitate cluster management coordination meetings at cluster level
  • Create smooth relationship and collaboration with government stakeholders
  • Work as a team with area office, work unit and other project staffs
  • Prepare detail implementation activity plan and regular report
  • Conduct cluster level review meeting in collaboration with district health offices
  • Ensure standardize quality service in collaboration with quality assurance committee or performance review team
  • Ensure timely collection and analysis of monthly data and other project related information
  • Conduct quality of care assessment and data verification at all service delivery points
  • Prepare and provide regular monthly progress report on time
  • Ensure infection prevention and control procedures in place as per the national guideline
  • Coordinate SBCC activities at facility and community level
  • Ensure the availability of supplies and commodities at service delivery points
  • Organize and facilitate joint monitoring visit
  • Provide on job training, coaching and capacity building where required
  • Ensure proper documentation at each service delivery points
  • Respect FGAE vision, missions and core values
  • Conduct other project related activities at facility and community level
  • Perform any other related activities as assigned by immediate supervisor

 Duty Station

  •  Shebedino, Hulla and Bensa in Sidama Zone, SNNPR
  •  Kofelein West Arsi Zone, Oromia

Required No.

  • 3 for SNNPR and 1 for Oromia region

Job Requirements

Qualification in Relevant Field of Study

  • BSc in Nursing or Public Health /Health Officer/

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the health care SRH service provision,
  • Computer skill in relevant software is desired
  •  Motorcycle driving license is desired
  •  Knowledge of local language is mandatory
  •  Willingness to travel and work in remote areas
  • Highly energetic and able to work independently with little supervision and good communication skills

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience

  •  2 years of work experience after BSC graduation
