Currently, Frontieri Consult PLC is s looking for an enthusiastic Communications Specialist to manage our external and internal communications.

Join our team of professionals and be part of our energetic team that is committed to bringing change by providing adequate research findings and advisory services for policymakers, and thereby contribute to the development of Ethiopia.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  •  He/she should be able to develop a communication strategy,
  • Speak clearly to the Young Impact Associates (YIAs),
  • Implement partners and stakeholders communication strategy,
  • Understand; listen to others and ask questions eloquently,
  • Conduct facilitated discussions with YIAs,
  • Write clearly so other people can understand; read and understand monitoring, evaluation and learning related materials,
  • Manage internal communications (memos, newsletters etc.),
  • Draft content (e.g. press releases) for mass media or company website,
  • Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences,
  • Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc., and
  • Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership.

Job Requirements

Education

  • MA/BSc/BA in public relations, communications or relevant fields

Experience (minimum requirement)

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as communications specialist, experience in copywriting and editing, and
  • Experience in web design and content production is a plus.

Technical and Other Skills

  • Solid understanding of project management principles,
  • Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset,
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills,
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities,
  • Excellent conflict management skill, and
  • Proficient command of English.
