Brief Description: The corporate relationship manager is directly reporting to the Strategic, Business Development and Marketing Director of the company. He/she is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling the business relationship functions. A relationship manager is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for business growth and resolving customer complaints. They possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills and work closely with operation teams to boost profitability and customer satisfaction.

Accordingly, the job hold is expected to perform the following major duties and responsibilities. 

  • Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them.
  • Identify and prospect new clients by performing market segmentation and apply different organization approaches in targeting and selecting clients.
  • Establish contact, rapport and credibility with prospective clients to influence key decision makers to start a relationship with the organization.
  • Approach potential customers to establish relationships.
  • Oversee client acceptance and on-boarding procedures (such as conducting due diligence and reviewing documentation requirements).
  • Sustain and build client relationships by maintaining ongoing communication and negotiation (pricing, financing structure) sessions with clients so as to deliver both quality and tailored service offerings.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and customers.
  • Notify the sales team of new sales and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Identification of market potentials, as well as observation and analysis of the market and competition.
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively.
  • Forward upselling and cross-selling opportunities to the sales team.
  • Promote high-quality sales, supply and customer service processes.
  • Aim to preserve customers and renew contracts.
  • Gain solid knowledge of competitors become familiar with the competition to stay ahead of them.
  • Create strategies and work with clients to boost their brand.
  • Help promote and maintain a positive company image.
  • To conduct regular survey on customer satisfaction.
  • Preserve existing clients and business firms.

About You

Job Requirements:

Job Skills and Qualification Requirements:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Minimum MA/BA degree Business Administration or Business Management or Economics or Marketing Management or other related fields
    • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a corporate client relationship manager.
    • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) practices.
    • Experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Proficient in data analysis and financial management.
    • Familiarity with industry standard software and CRM systems.
    • Excellent presentation skills.
    • Proficient in English. Additional languages are an advantage.
