COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Marginpar Ethiopia is a leading producer and exporter of summer flowers, located in the Oromia region, West Showa Zone, Wolmera Woreda, near Holeta town. With eighty-five hectares of farmland and a team of 950 employees, we are committed to our motto: “WE GROW PEOPLE, OUR PEOPLE GROW UNIQUE FLOWERS.”
This position is full-time, requiring 48 hours per week. The successful candidate must reside in Wolmera/Holeta or be willing to relocate. Transport is provided from Holeta to the farm in the morning and after work.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all farm data forms are completed accurately and submitted on time to the Farm Manager, including proper analysis and summaries.
- Prepare and adjust formats for data collection, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Ensure the Administrative assistant accurately records data and implements control systems to maintain data accuracy.
- Maintain an organized archiving structure for all digital files; regularly train and monitor office staff to ensure data is properly named and stored.
- Ensure all electronic equipment (computers, laptop, printers, internet, internal network, biometric data machines, phones, etc.) is functioning and in good condition.
- Maintain a clear and simple archiving system for all physical documents and files, keeping soft copies as backups.
- Advise and assist the Farm Manager with farm data analysis and summary reports.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Communication: Must be fluent in English, Afan Oromo, and Amharic, both written and spoken, for effective communication.
- Ability to organize, analyse, process, and report data accurately.
- Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access; well-organized with the ability to manage databases and data figures.
QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Statistics, Agricultural Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
- 5 -10 years of relevant work experience.
- Computer, other hardware & network maintenance skills
