Job Description

Truck Allocation

• Provide demand forecast with each transporter at week beginning
• Optimal allocation of trucks to KDs considering millrun
•  Ensure fixed delivery date design is strictly adhered and notify Distribution manager in case of deviation
•  Place order with transporters OTIF and ensure early arrival of trucks
• Receive truck detail from transporters and follow up arrival at the warehouse
• Provide detail of truck along with SKUs to be loaded on email once arrival is confirmed by Warehouse
• Liaise with security manager and RSM to confirm local security and likely threats before dispatch
•  Share detail with each transporter for work order preparation OTIF

Distribution cost

• Track and record actual cost saving from truck and route optimization on daily basis

Order Delivery tracker

• Update shipment detail on order delivery tracker on daily basis at 100% accuracy
• Share tracker with TMs and RSMs on daily basis

Transporter Payment

• Create DO, ensure transporters have enough balance of PO before invoice is issued
• Verify invoices from transporters and submit to Distribution planner for validation
• GRN invoices upon receipt
• Confirm Finance to proceed with payment once check and approval is done along signed off copy of summary of invoice
•  Maintain up to date payment tracker and log book, and share with distribution planner
• Follow up timely settlement of invoices
