Bright Future Ethiopia Development and Charity Association (BFE) is a young local NGO striving to expand while focusing on the unreached section of the community. BFE has an immediate opening for a person who fulfills the following qualifications.
Summary of the position
The main purpose of the position is to perform duties in the safe operation of an organizational vehicle and reliable transportation service for staffs, partners in all project implementation cycles. The driver also expected for a minor and medium skilled work in the mechanical maintenance and repair of vehicles and related equipment.
Major roles and Responsibilities
- Provide safely transporting for staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that the organization vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking.
- Keeping the organization vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
- Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.
- Assisting with the loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials.
- Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
- Provide full range transport service for organization use to ensure safe, reliable fleet to help in work on customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance
- Observe prescribed work, safety rules and respond to service calls
- Perform minor mechanical maintains and repairs for vehicle parts
- Inspect vehicles regularly, evaluate condition of systems, equipment, accessories, etc. and report timely
- Consistently monitor vehicle performance, submit maintenance request or advice timely and follow-up accomplishments
- Prepare monthly vehicle usage report and submit timely using logbook and reporting formats.

Duty station:
- Yaya Gullele District (Permanent Base in Fital Town and frequent travel to other districts, working locations, and Addis Ababa)
Job Requirements
Qualifications required:
- 12th or 10+2 completed with 3rd grade valid driving license
Work Experience:
- Medium level (Minimum of three years)
