Action for Social Development and Environmental Protection Organization (ASDEPO) is a national NGO and non-profit making humanitarian organization established in accordance with the charities and societies proclamation No 621/2009 and re-registered under the 1113/2019 revised proclamation. ASDEPO is implementing currently various projects in Oromiya, SNNPR, Somali, Gambella, Benishangul Gumuz, Afar, Tigray and Amhara regions. To meet its objectives ASDEPO calls for competent professionals to apply for the following vacant position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or compile reports for different end users such as government, donors, board of directors and ASDEPO management
  • Be engaged in proposal development, preparation of Terms of Reference(TOR) and MEAL plan
  • Capacitate project officers of ASDEPO to have strong project implementation
  • Work as part of a team to facilitate and support project operations
  • Facilitate data analysis with program implementation team as requested
  • Conduct regular field visits to ensure the effectiveness of project implementation
  • Lead the setting up and management of Indicator Tracking for all projects
  • Work closely with program managers to develop and deliver staff/partner trainings, improving capacities in project implementation and management.
  • Review or edit data in reports as requested and required
  • Produce analytical summaries: graphs, charts, and tables as requested to fulfil reporting requirements
  • Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to ASDEPO and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission
  • accountability, specifically to our beneficiaries and to international standards
  • Focus on reaching results while ensuring an efficient process.
  • Involve relevant parties and encourage feedback.
  • Take ownership and initiative while aiming for innovation.

Job Requirements

Qualification

  • BA/MA Degree in educational planning and management, school leadership, curriculum studies, Early Childhood Care and Education, special needs education, psychology  and other related fields of study.
  • Fluent written and spoken English
