Job Requirements
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The Electrician is responsible for handling all works, related and requiring, electrical technician support. This position reports directly to the Production Operator and Technician, which will work with the Production Supervisor to implement the factory’s standard operating procedures and food safety standards. The position is flexible in working night shifts and overtime shifts.
RESPONSIBILITY
Accountable to the Production Operator and Technician of the company, the Electrician’s responsibilities are:
o Work in all issues related to the electrical system of the machinery
o Work in all issues related to electrical systems or mechanical system of the line
o Support in any electrical failures or maintenance inside the factory
o Support in the management and proper functioning of the machinery
o Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
o Identify and report unsafe operations to Supervisor immediately
o Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized.
o Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required by the food safety standards.
o Proper utilization of safety equipment and uniforms.
o Practice the food safety policy of the company (FSSC) by performing good manufacturing practice (GMP) and good hygienic practice (GHP) in the company
o Quality assurance /food safety management of products and processes in compliance with ISO 22000:2005, IS0 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007, HACCP & BRC/IFS certifications and best practices
o Monitors and inspects equipment and systems performance; perform tune-up preventative maintenance and repair
o Maintains assigned tools, equipment, personal protection equipment, and reports repairs and/or deficiencies
QUALIFICATIONS
o Bachelor degree or diploma in Electricity, or related fields
o 5+ years of responsibilities as an Electrician or related position, preferably within a food manufacturing environment
o Experience working in similar factories would be favored
o Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
o Excellent interpersonal skills
o Excellent time management and organizational skills
o Ready to learn new and innovative techniques
o Ability to analyze and formulate process flows, identify root cause process breakdowns, and implement process changes, improvements, and corrective actions
o Develop goals and objectives; monitor and measure with key performance indicators
o Strong teamwork skills and a clear expectation for him or herself
