Electro – Mechanical Assistant Section Head 33 views

Position Summary:

• Familiar and complies with the hotels mission and standards in performing maintenance activities.
• Priorities, plan, schedule assign and supervise the engineering department staff.
•  Oversee the maintenance tasks, work orders and special projects ensuring timely and accurate completion.
•  Ensure that stores have adequate stocks of materials, equipment and tools and are kept in a clean and safe environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hands on experience maintaining and repairing heating ventilation and air conditioning systems and other related systems such as electrical systems, heat pumps, and chillers
•  Ensure availability of necessary spare parts for all electro-mechanical systems in store to avoid disruption of operation due to lack of spare parts.
•  Assist in preparing specification and conducting technical evaluation for procurement of electromechanical goods, spare parts and etc.

REPORTS TO: Chef Engineer

Prerequisites

•  Good competence skill in electro mechanical devices, ability to work under pressure when required, ability to anticipate and rapid decision making, team player with good communication skills.

Qualification

• BSC Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering Experience
• BSC Degree and Six years of hotel experience,
• Advanced Diploma and at least 10 years of hotel experience,
• Having hospitality experience in International hotel is preferable.
