Company Overview:
Buusaa Gonofaa Micro finance (BG MFI) is a non-bank profit making financial institution licensed under Proclamation No 40/1996 and is supervised by the National Bank of Ethiopia with a mandate to take public deposits. It is one of the key players in the micro finance industry of the country for the last eighteen years focusing on the rural and pre-urban economically active poor. Currently BG want to fill the following vacant position with a suitable candidate.
Responsibilities And Tasks
- Ensures quality management of loan and saving portfolios are maintained at RSFs under his/her supervision;
- Conducts regular supervision for RSFs to ensure the proper implementation of saving and loan target and work plan;
- Regularly undertakes controlling to RSF transaction recorded by cashiers and other RSF staff and provides feedback for future correction of irregularity;
- Provides technical assistance to RSF staff in supervising operations and all activities of RSF;
- Periodically conducts performance evaluation and reports to the immediate supervisor timely;
- Facilitates efficient document delivery from Rural Unit to RSF and from RSF to Rural Unit

Job Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Diploma/Level IV and above in Accounting, Management, Marketing, Business Management, Economics and other related fields of studies.
Working Experience:
- Having auditing/internal Controlling and supervision experience is more advantageous.
Skill And Competence Required:
- Language: Speaking, Reading and writing skill of both “Afaan Oromoo” and English
- Knowledge of principles and processes of supervision and internal controlling;
- Sportsmanship ability to adventure long journey to remote Rural for supervision of Rural Service Facilities (RSF);
- The ability to work under stress and difficult conditions;
- Having Motor bike driving skill and license is more advantageous
- Computer applications.
