Responsibilities

  • Implementation and monitoring of an overall smooth and correct functioning of the company,
  • Financial planning, monitoring, and accounting,
  • Monitor daily office operations and expenditures,
  • Ensures that the provided accounting services meets reporting deadlines;
  • Solving problem with different government offices,
  • Overseeing office administration and assisting the sales team.
  • Willingness to fill in and work in different positions in the company as needed.

Main finance related duties include but are not limited to:

  • Monitors income, expenditure, and the monthly bank reconciliation,
  • Monitors real accounts (payables, receivables) and reports regularly to the management,
  • Compile and submit complete financial documents and reports,
  • Ensure timely payment of utility bills, payroll tax, withholding tax  and any other office payments,
  • Maintain proper fixed asset register, update inventory records and make annual physical count;
  • Manages all audits and internal controls.

Main administrative related duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provides required documents for an auditor whenever control is conducted and assists on follow-up of auditor’s findings,
  • Monitors the daily cash flow records, the level of liquidity and bank balances,
  • Keep and update records related to staff and the organization,
  • Monitor stock level and goods in transit,
  • Efficiently communicates and coordinates with stakeholders
  • Performing any other office duties as required,

Job Requirements

Background

  • BA/MA in Accounting and Finance,
  • Minimum of five (5) years work experience in accounting and/or finance in with international trade companies or similar,
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, knowledge of French or other international language is a plus,
  • Good working knowledge of integrated accounting systems such as QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage or similar solutions and ITC technologies (phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office)

Other knowledge, additional competences

  • In-depth understanding of financial planning and accounting,
  • Broad experience of management and administration,
  • Willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed – corresponding measures are agreed with management,
  • Excellent organization and communication skills,
  • Flexible in working with and filling in for different position in the company as needed.
