MSD is a non-profit, civic society organization founded in 1999 to combat the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Since then, MSD works to strengthen the socio-economic development of the wider community, and the nation at large. Working with partners and stakeholders, MSD advance the voice of citizens and community structures in service delivery, identifying priority needs, provide support and services to target groups with education, skills and promote opportunity to get along with assets. Aligned to its vision, mission and strategic objectives, MSD has been working in different development, emergency and humanitarian endeavours including HIV Prevention, care and support, Orphan and vulnerable children (OCV) care and support, Sexual and Reproductive health (SRH),Family Planning (FP), Gender Based Violence (GBV), migration, child protection and environmental protection. Through these technical area and services, it reached different hard to reach target groups including early married girls, GBV survivor, OVCs, refugees, PLHA, commercial sex workers and their clients, waitresses, long truck drivers, CSOs, CBOs and the community. At community level, the organization works with community members and community based social service providing institutions, schools, health facilities, government line offices, marginalized groups and professional associations.

About You
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
JOB Responsibility #1: Financial Management
- Generally supports an organization’s financial operations.
- Process and manage invoices, purchase orders, and expense documents and reports.
- Making documents complete and ready for annual audit and periodic financial monitoring.
- Process procurement of office supplies and stationaries at HO level.
- Verifying completeness the CPVs, JVs and financial documentation in accordance with MSD procedures and the reporting the discrepancies if any.
- Periodically collect bank statements and bank advice and submit to the immediate supervisor.
JOB Responsibility #2: Archiving
- Responsible for maintaining the finance document of the organization in an orderly manner, and manage the document archive.
- Maintain filing of monthly accounting vouchers, journals, spreadsheets, and other finance documents.
- Ensure no document is missing from the file folder and fully stamped paid.
JOB Responsibility #3: Administrative/clerical
- Makes copies of correspondences, and reports when required.
- Compiles reports and other documents and binds them when requested;
- Delivers letters, documents, from one office to another as requested;
- Collects letters from the offices of collaborating organizations as instructed by her/his supervisor and delivers them to respective addresses against the signature of the concerned persons.
- Manage the incoming and outgoing letters.
- Follow up and ensure employee time sheet collected and documented monthly.
- Ensure the GRN and SIV are issued for items purchased and dispatched into/out of the store.
Requirements:
- Minimum a college diploma or degree and five years relevant work experience is needed.
- Knowledge of basic compliance requirements of donors is required.
- Proven experience in a financial documentation in a project setting.
- Experience on documentation for USAID funded project is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer typing and email navigation skill.
