Zeleke and Amelework Enterprise PLC. is a private business company comprising a KG to Preparatory School, a Bakery, and a Printing Press. The Board of Directors of the enterprise is looking for competent candidates for Finance and Budget Head position in the enterprise.
Description
- Leads annual budgeting process of the enterprise and also review all financial plans and budgets by monitoring progress and changes;
- Assists departments in preparing budgets based on goals, current revenue, expenses and past performance
- Analyses and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditor and the administration and finance Head
- Manage the enterprise cash flow
- Improve the finance department’s overall policy and procedure manual
- Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
- Monitoring spending to ensure it remains within budget.
- Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the general manager of the enterprise;
- Ensure internal financial procedures are compatible with prevailing laws
- Oversees the management and reconciliation of the bank and cash accounts
- Other similar duties and responsibilities assigned by the General Manager of the enterprise
Job Requirements
Main requirement
- A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance, or other similar fields of study
Minimum Experience Required
- 8 years of experience as Finance and Budget Head in multi-business private company
