About the Job
We are looking for an experienced General Foreman to our company . The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction of projects. They will be responsible for ensuring that all construction works are of high quality, meet the project specifications, and are completed on schedule.
Place 0f work:- Tulefa projectds (60 km from Addis Ababa)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the construction activities of the project
- Control the quality of construction works technically on site
- Prepare construction reports regularly
- Monitor the project progress and make sure it is on schedule
- Ensure that all construction works are done according to the project specifications, codes, and regulations
- Manage the construction crew to ensure that they are following the safety procedures
- Communicate with the project manager, architects, and engineers to ensure that the project is on track
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports
- Maintain a clean and organized construction site
- Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure that all workers are following the safety procedures
About You
Job Requirements:-
- Diploma/certificate in Construction Technology/ Building Construction
- Minimum of 10 years of construction experience in Concrete Works, Finishing Works, and factory project experience is preferred
Good communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
