YIFAT Development association is a newly established association as a local organization in accordance with the Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No 1113/2019 with registration number 5332 on January 11,2021 .
General Duties and Responsibilities
He /she is responsible the accomplishment of YDA’s mission and vision, and the accountability of to its diverse stake holders ;Planning, organizing,directing, coordinating, controlling and managing the general operation and the various activities of YDA; responsible for planning directing the development activities in a way which would produce maximum benefit with the balanced best interest of YDA, YADA Members, Donors ,Community , employees; establishing current, medium and long term strategic plans, objectives and policies.
The Association invites Competent and qualified applicants to apply for the General Manager position with the following details;
- Design short, medium- and long-term plan and Strategic plan of YDA
- Planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, controlling and managing the general development activities and the various activities of Research & development ; Project implementation and follow up
- Prepare and submit to the Executive Committee major policies governing the Association’s operation and various Support activities; the internal rules and regulations of the Association and implement same upon approval.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing Association`s standards.
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Ensure that proper books of accounts of the Association are maintained and opening and operating bank accounts of the association as per the association Financial Manual.
- Represent the Association by establishing, maintaining and developing a constructive and appropriate working relationships and collaborations with the Regulatory Agency , Community, Donors, customers, suppliers, relevant local, regional and federal government bodies, NGO’s, financial institutions, Similar development associations, and the general public.
- Ensuring that the books of accounts are accordingly audited by external auditors, submitted to Executive committee ,General Assemble and regulatory Agency timely; taking immediate and appropriate remedial measures in accordance with the Auditor’s report.
- Submit performance and Financial report to the Executive Committee every Month, Quarter and annually .
Salary: as per the Association’s Salary Scale .Negotiable based on the pay history and profile of the applicant

Job Requirements
Education– MA,Bachelor of Art Degree in Management or Business Administration or Accounting or Economics or Similar Fields
Work experience– Eight /Ten years of Total work Experience respectively in NGO, or Similar Associations or companies out of which 2/4 years in Managerial position
