Job Title : General Manager

Job Summary
The General Manager is the highest-ranking executive responsible for the comprehensive strategic direction, overall operational oversight, and ensuring the long-term profitability and sustainability of the company. This critical leadership role involves effectively managing and aligning all core functions—including Production, Finance, Sales, HR, Procurement, and Engineering—to achieve the company’s strategic goals efficiently and effectively.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The General Manager will lead the organization across the following primary domains:
A. Strategic Planning and Corporate Direction
- Develop and communicate a clear, inspiring strategic vision and lead the formulation of both long- and short-term operational plans.
- Conduct market analysis to secure a competitive advantage and monitor progress against strategic goals, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
B. Organizational Oversight and Interdepartmental Coordination
- Supervise and guide the activities of all departmental managers (HR, Finance, Production, Procurement, Engineering, Sales, and IT).
- Coordinate workflow to ensure effective collaboration, review and approve departmental budgets, and evaluate the organizational structure for continuous improvement.
C. Financial Leadership and Budget Control
- Oversee the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Monitor profitability and Return on Investment (ROI), and approve major financial decisions, capital investments, and procurement transactions.
D. Production and Operational Management
- Monitor and evaluate production performance, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Implement lean manufacturing, cost-control, and waste-reduction strategies, and champion safety, health, and environmental compliance.
E. Business Development and Stakeholder Relations
- Represent the company in key negotiations, regulatory meetings, and industry events.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships, key customer relationships, and serve as the company’s principal spokesperson and brand ambassador.
F. Human Capital Development and Leadership Culture
- Foster a results-driven, high-integrity, and employee-centric organizational culture.
- Lead succession planning, provide coaching to senior managers, and promote staff engagement and inclusion.
G. Governance, Risk, and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, standards, and internal policies.
- Develop and implement robust risk management and business continuity plans.

Job Requirements
Educational Background
- Required: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Industrial Engineering, Management, or a closely related field.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 12 years in a senior management position within the manufacturing sector.
- At least 5 years in a progressive executive leadership role (e.g., Manager, Director or similar).
Technical Skills (Required Competencies)
- Mastery in Strategic and Business Planning in industrial areas.
- Proven ability in Operations Management and Process Optimization
- Expertise in Financial Oversight, Budgeting, and Profitability Analysis.
- Deep understanding of Human Capital Management, Organizational Leadership, and Corporate Governance.
- Advanced skills in Negotiation, Public Relations, and Regulatory Compliance.
