GOAL is a non-for profit organization that has been working in Ethiopia for over 30 years, towards ensuring the poorest and most vulnerable in our world and those affected by humanitarian crises have access to the fundamental rights of life, including but not limited to adequate shelter, food and livelihoods, water and sanitation, nutrition,  healthcare and education. GOAL implements a range of multi-sectoral development, resilience, recovery, and humanitarian responses programmes by being sensitive to cross-cutting issues including gender, accountably, child protection, HIV/AIDS. Currently, we work with pastoralist, agro-pastoral, pastoral dropouts, rural small holder farmers, rural/urban youth and street children to respond to humanitarian crises and build resilience in Ethiopia working closely with local communities, local government, donors and other key actors. GOAL E Humanitarian Response is centered on nutrition, WASH, livelihoods, multipurpose cash, NFIs and protection interventions in country wide while the recovery and development focus on livelihoods, economic opportunities, health, health and nutrition system strengthening and WASH with solid emphasis on integrated programming and community-based approach in Oromiya regional state. The Street Children programme is implemented with local partners in Addis Ababa and Hawassa.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be an experienced humanitarian worker. You will receive a full training package and will be engaged into the overall management of the day to day Financial, Logistics and Administration related matters of GOAL Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) and/or refugee field.

  • BA in Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Purchasing and Supplies Management or related fields with 0-1years’
  • Non – related fields with one-year experience in Accounting, Logistics and Administration area
  • Certificate/ Diploma in basic computer – Knowledge in Ms – Office, Internet and Email usage
  • Willingness to live and work in remote and rural areas,
  • Knowledge of local language other than Amharic (Afarigna, Oromiffa , Sidamigna , etc ) is advantages
  • Good English communication SKILL,
  • Willingness to work in Humanitarian Response Programme
  • Willingness and alert to learn and strive to develop capacity
  • Willingness to work under flexible work schedule including week ends,
  • Ability to work in team,
  • Eligible to work in Ethiopia
  • Sensitive to cross- citing issues like Gender Child protection, HIV/AIDS & Accountability

Commitments:

REMUNERATION and BENEFITS

· Salary Birr 9,971. per month

· Transportation Allowance – 10% of monthly salary.

· Medical Insurance With family members, per to the policy

· Pension – as per the government pension scheme (11% from the employer and 7% from the employee).

· Hardship Allowance30% to 50% (depending on the respective location) of monthly salary.
