Job Vacancy Announcement: Maintenance & Quality Engineer
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance and Quality Engineer to join our team.
Specific duties and responsibilities
- Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
- Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
- Diagnose breakdown problems
- Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly
- Carry out quality inspections on jobs
- Daily, weekly, period, time sheet, tasks done and error reports.
Leadership & Corporate governance responsibilities and roles
- To comply personally and to ensure compliance by my team, towards all applicable laws (current and future).
- To Comply personally and to be responsible to enforce compliance by the team to Ethiopian Standards (current and future), wherever required, I will remain aware of them and in case of doubt request information or training.
About You
Qualifications: –Applicants must have a degree in one of the following fields:
- Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Industrial Electrical Machine Technology or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience
- Experience working with steel roofing roll forming machines is highly preferred
- Priority will be given to candidates with relevant industry experience
Key Requirements:
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Must be able to use WhatsApp, Telegram and Email for work communication
- Should be proficient in computer usage
- Must be able to type with a minimum speed of 20 words per minute (WPM)
