Oromia Development Association (ODA) is a non-profit, membership-based local non-governmental organization established in 1993 by farsighted people with a mission to contribute to the development of the lives of Oromia people through sustainable integrated community-based programs. It is registered as Ethiopian resident charity with registration number 1414. ODA primarily focuses on livelihood diversification, empowerment of the community, public health promotion, and education, provision of potable water, environmental protection and distinctly promoting voluntarism to contribute to the development effort of the region.
ODA has been striving to contribute towards addressing the AYSRH challenges of the region since 2009 in three phases through its school-based intervention where it employed gender responsive teaching-learning pedagogy, provision of comprehensive AYSRH messages, creating linkages with public health facilities for the provision of youth friendly SRH services, and engaging stakeholders and the community to address the socio-economic and reproductive health needs of young people.

- Job Title: – Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting & Learning Officer
- Number of position– one (1)
- Major Responsibilities –
- Monitor the progress of the regional planned activities towards the desired goal of the program
- Ensure accurate & timely collection of data, analysis & reporting based on the requirements
- Conduct supportive supervision in collaboration with regional technical team
- Support project officers in coordinating project reviews, evaluations, consultancies & maintain data bases
- Document best practices, success stories & lesson learned
- Prepare quarterly Bi-annual & annual project performance report.
- Carry out other duties assigned by regional manager
Job Requirements
- Qualification – Master’s Degree in Public Health, Monitoring and Evaluation or related fields of study
- Basic skill in Computers
- Work experience– Minimum of 5years of working experience in M &E, Reporting & Learning
- Broad knowledge on SRH, Gender and prevention of HIV/AIDS services and issues related with young people socio-economic issues.
- Written and oral communication skills in English, Afaan Oromoand Amharic is very important
