Purpose of the job description: The objective of this JD is to provide personnel engaged in Airport service center Clearing and Forwarding operations with documented reference of procedures and guide performers on their day to day activities to serve as a guide line instrument to enable the teams effectively realize service delivery based on the newly developed process design.
Key Objectives of the Job Position
- Regularly appraise his/her team members performance as per applicable performance management guideline, support the regions ocean cargo portfolio of customers, new and current.

- Control & track his/her team’s goals & activities; and regularly prepare team’s performance report & submit to his/her immediate supervisor
- Regularly appraise his/her team members performance as per applicable performance management guideline,
- Perform his/her people management role,
- Plan & authorize annual & other leave entitlements of staffs under his/her custody,
- Ensure compliance to pertinent policies & procedures (i.e. manuals, rules, regulations) that govern his/her business in particular and MACCFA and local laws in general
- Provide inspired leadership for the operation team member
- Strategically plan and manage freight forwarding, transportation and customer services

Place of work: Addis Ababa Airport Branch office
Reporting to Whom: The post holder will be directly reporting to the Air Freight Manager

Job Requirements
Educational Requirement
- BA in Logistics or in related field of study.
Minimum Work experience
- 5 years related work experience
