Duties and responsibilities
- Plan, organize, coordinate and execute all plant protection activities
- Prepare annual plant protection work program and budje
- Raise purchase requisition of all materials necessary for plant protection activates
- Conduct pest and disease assessments
- Review and evaluate daily pest and diseas assessments and pass decision os spray programs
- Instruct and assignee spray teams in accordance to the assessment based spray decisions
- Conduct post spray assessments to prove spray effectiveness
- Conduct regular training of pest assessors, spray teams and spray equipment teams
- Avail protective device to sprayers, assessors, and spray equipment technicians
- Arrange and conduct annual medical check up of plant protection department staff and workers
- Control MRL levels of of all crop types

About You
- Education: BSc Plant science/ agronomist related fields.
- Experience: Five-year relevant experience.
