Job Description
- Ensure all purchase requests from different departments adhere to the Procurement process.
- Purchase and follow up on delivery and quality of the required consumables and other materials (e.g. trims).
- Alert Purchasing Manager and relevant managers on any abnormal purchase requests.
- Purchase and follow-up on delivery of required machine spare parts.
- Ensure purchasing records are properly created/updated in the relevant systems
- Monitor the quality of purchased consumables, trims, and spare parts and follow up with end-user to ensure end-users quality expectations are met. Resolve disputes in the cases of rejection by end-user.
- Ensure on-time, sufficient supply of consumables and materials to the Factory by conducting regular reviews with Central Sourcing Executives on inventory status with reference to future production plans.
- Follow-up with suppliers to ensure information such as documents and test reports are ready prior to delivery and filed properly.
- Follow up the tender process
- Monitor supplier quality and on-time performance
- Take accountability for growing and continuously improving oneself
Job Requirements
Education: First Degree in Procurement and Supply Management/Business Administration/Management/Accounting/Economics/Merchandising/Garment/Textile or related field of studies
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of related experience in the garment industry and at least 2 years in supervisory positions.
