ADCO Property Management is looking to recruit a highly professional and competent Property Manager to administer commercial and residential properties.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective and efficient delivery of all services and programs, in response to client needs.
  • Develop and implement a building management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements
  • Ensure prompt and effective complaints resolution
  • Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
  • Coordinate move in/out
  • Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
  • Oversee buildingrefurbishment and renovations
  • Plan and manage building central services such as reception, security, cleaning, waste disposal and parking
  • Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers. negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and cost saving
  • Coordinate and monitor activities and manage contractor and vendor relationships
  • Manage and review service contracts to ensure building  management needs are being met
  • Performance manage, develop and train staff
  • Generate and present regular reports and reviews of building -related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures and purchases
  • Advise on and monitor energy efficiency
  • Oversee environmental health and safety
  • Provide prompt response to requests and issues from tenants/ residences

Place of Work:

  • Addis Ababa (Meri-Loke, Lebu, Bole, Wollo-sefer,….)

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business management, Hospitality Management, Marketing Management, project management or related qualification
  • Working knowledge of principles and practices of project management, business administration accounting/ financial, human resource management, electrical and mechanical systems, procurement and contracts
  • Experience in construction, maintenance and all facets of building operation
  • Solid computer and systems knowledge
  • Minimum 2 Years work experience
