Rorank Business S.C. is subsidiary of a UK base company called Castleford Investment Holdings Limited. We manufacture and distribute our flagship brands, Super Eagle and Crystal that are renowned for their great taste and quality.  Our new leading edge manufacturing and bottling facility is located in Cha Cha.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •   In collaboration with Plant Manager prepares work plan and schedules based on the company’s short and long term (strategic) plan; formulates and implements functional objectives and strategies;
  •   Organizes, coordinates and supervises the processing laboratory to ensure that inspection of the incoming and process products are done and that the quality of the process products conform to quality parameters;
  • Checks all the necessary parameters ( purity, brix, reducing sugar, Total Fermentable sugar, Specific gravity, cell count, cell viability, Alcohol content, strength and the likes) of the input Molasses, intermediate and
  • final products and ensures that all the measuring parameters are to the standard;
  •  Ensures that all laboratory measuring units and analytical balances are properly maintained and calibrated;
  • Controls and checks that sample taking and preparation for analysis have been carried-out correctly and according to the laboratory methods;
  • Controls the non-conforming products as per the QMS procedure;
  • Assures the cleanliness, sterilization and dryness of all sampling devices to prevent contamination and bacterial infection;
  •  Checks the proper functioning of Flow meters and any other counters to facilitate performance calculation at different stages;
  •  Realizes special test on raw material, intermediate and the final product to ensure the quality to comply with the required specification;
  • Develops safety standards and practices, ensuring that safety equipment are properly functioning, and safety standards and practices maintained;
  • Creates and maintains conducive working environment in which people can fully involve in achieving the organizational objectives;
  • Controls the laboratory shift analyst and renders technical assistance whenever required;
  • Ascertains the availability of enough and necessary laboratory chemicals and materials;
  •  In collaboration with the plant manager, follows-up the annual inventory of the laboratory chemicals & equipment, checks the stock position and raises purchase requisition as required;
  • Prepares statistical data that has a contribution to the control & economy of the manufacturing;
  • Checks all analysis result figures, comments and communicates to the concerned ;
  • Ensures all records, files, manuals, soft wares , data, statistics, analysis,  plans schedules… and external documents are well managed and kept as per the record and document procedures;
  •  Implements and maintains the Quality Management System (QMS) and continually strive for improvements; ensures all activities function within the objective to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations;
  • Develops, implements and maintains other improved management systems with the view to create opportunities for improvement;
  • Takes due responsibility and accountability for managing and controlling resources and property allocated for work within area of responsibility;
  • Implements and applies fully the collective labor agreement, internal regulations and other relevant statutory instructions and orders;
  • Delivers daily, periodic and special performance reports to the Plant Manager and all other concerned;
  •  Appraises the performance of the subordinates;
  •  Implements environmental objectives and targets of the organization traced to environmental policy;
  •  Performs other related duties as may be required.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: BSc. degree in Chemical Engineering or in Applied Chemistry

EXPERIENCE:   4 years in distillery plant

Experience in conformity assessment and knowledge of the laboratory quality management system based on ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001(QMS), ISO22000 (FSMS),ISO 14001(EMS). Have experience in GLP and GMP
