Job Description

A German Trading Company is looking to hire SEM Specialist to manage all paid search campaigns on Google, as well as other search and display marketing engines. A successful SEM Specialist will effectively manage the paid search budget and work with the SEO and Marketing team in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and customers. Keyword  implementation, ad copy creation, bid, landing pages, and other related daily SEM aspects. He ensures that all these functions are effectively executed and that they are in line with the allocated budget and timelines

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of SEM campaigns. He performs advanced research and analyses on search performance metrics such as quality score and competitive analyses after which he makes recommendations on tracking and data improvements that are in support of more comprehensive data gathering
  • Ensures that all these functions are effectively executed and that they are in line with the allocated budget and timelines
  • Measures the effectiveness of SEM strategies in terms of ROI, traffic, and conversion against the overall goals of the business,
  • Making sure SEM campaigns stay aligned with business objectives. In this capacity, it is also the Senior SEM Manager’s duty to simplify reports and analyses ensuring that they are easy to read and interpret prior to presentation to management and CEO.
  • Manage Google merchant center, make sure all our products are listed and meeting Google requirements
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links

Job Requirements

General Requirements:

  • Fluent English Language is a Must.
  • Experience in working with different departments with different countries
  • Commerce/Marketing/Business Admin. Graduated from a reputable university.
  • Total years of Experience from 2 to 5 years max.
  • Proficient in using MS applications particularly Word & Excel.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven SEM and SEO experience and success managing PPC & GMC campaigns across Google
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
  • In-depth experience with bid management tools
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, semrush..)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • BS/MS degree in Marketing or a quantitative, test-driven field
