About the Job

Control of transportation budget

  • Prepare and submit regular and comprehensive weekly reports to the appropriate authorities on truck execution and vehicle movements and problems
  • Develops effective working relationships with transporters to secure the most cost- efficient transportation rates and ensures execution of all required business outcomes.
    Transporters Contract negotiations and compliance
  • May be required to work non-traditional hours (e.g., after hours calls or weekendon-call)
  • Ensures all payables related to assigned trucks are processed promptly. This  involves verifying the incoming invoice with the information at hand, properapplication of units to contracts, and timely settlements.
  • Other related activities assigned by Procurement and Logistics Manager

 

Fleet management

  • Track fuel consumption, check vehicles and drivers when there are cases of fuel overuse and monitor driver behavior. Manage fuel fare more effectively.
  • Manage budgets implementing cost control measures related to maintain budget Plans, schedules, and direct & tracks vehicle maintenance, fuel costs and provides periodic reports to senior management communication and follow up with Lease service provider
  • Maintains accurate records of vehicles
  • Weekly reporting to appropriate authorities to include Cost savings analysis, fuel exceptions, maintenance exceptions Oversight of vendor invoices for payment coordinate vehicle titles, registrations, license plates, gas cards, insurance and Lease Plan and drivers
  • oversee and analyses operations with the aim of improving processes and ultimately increasing the overall efficiency of the fleet.

     

Other related activities assigned by Procurement and Logistics Manager

  • Performing other related tasks as per logistics manager direction.

  • Considerable knowledge of monitoring and evaluation techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of quality control concept.
  • Good knowledge of and experience in Vehicle Maintenance Management

  • Ability to work effectively in team management
  • Strong issue resolution skill

About You

  • Minimum Educational Qualification: BA degree in Management, Accounting, Marketing, or business-related fields.
  •  Work Experience: 5 years of relevant work
