GFA has been shortlisted for the tender „Increasing Agricultural Productivity through Innovation “ in Ethiopia. The objective of this project – funded by the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) – is to promote agricultural mechanization through leasing. The purpose of the project is to expedite the import of long-lasting and adequate agricultural machines and implements, to support the Development Bank of Ethiopia by building internal capacities required to offer leasing for agricultural machines and implements in a sustainable manner. This is to contribute to improving the sustainable access to leasing as new financial product for agricultural small and medium enterprises (“SMEs”) for the financing of agricultural machines and equipment.

Job description

We are now looking for an International Senior Human Resource Expert for all in all up to six months (intermittent missions over the project duration).

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or economics (with a major in human resources);
• Minimum of 10 years relevant professional experience in human resources;
• Working experience in the financial sector, commercial banks or development banks would be an asset;
• Extensive experience in implementation / set-up of human resources projects (each) of a minimum duration of six months including aspects of implementation of remuneration / incentive schemes;
• Work experience in Subsahara Africa, preferably East Africa;
• Excellent communication and people skills;
• Fluency in the English language.
