Essential Function

• Participates and contributes in change projects, spans from research, implementation and assessment process;
• Generates ideas for new products and feasibility researches in terms of profitability, resource availability and compliance with regulations;
• Develop concepts, products and solutions by coordinating with internal stakeholders;
• Contributes for the development of various research formats, guidelines and methodologies;
• Participate in projects that identify gaps in the existing products, patterns and processes and the subsequent complete changes or partial improvements;
• Undertake market research and intelligence on existing and new innovations in the domestic and international banking industry; and generate proposals in line with the department’s work plan;
• Take part in baseline and/or follow-up surveys that measures the efficiency and effectiveness of the bank in ranging aspects of the business;

Place of Work: Head Office (Addis Ababa)

Qualifications

• B.A in Economics/ Management/ Banking and Finance or related fields;

Experience

• 5 years of experience in the Banking industry of which 2 years as Innovation officer or related. Experience In research, change and project management principles and practices is advantageous.
