 Currently, we are seeking Senior Research Fellow-Education with high level of consultancy experience enthusiasm, and resilience.

Summary of key functions

• Develop research proposals employing various techniques, and elaborate research objectives and thematic issues;
• Prepare literature review;
• Construct appropriate research methodologies, design tools and instrument,
• Produce quality research report in collaboration with other research fellows,
• Prepare project evaluation guideline and quality assurance procedures; and evaluate the projects accordingly;
• Prepare inception, draft and final reports in collaboration with other team members,
• Develop innovative approaches, in collaboration with other research fellows, such new techniques as may be necessary to achieve the objectives of the research;
• Demonstrates extraordinary client service by fulfilling all client requirements within the accepted standards of time, cost and quality.
• Oversees and coordinate various consultancy projects and monitor their effective implementation against the basic parameters of quality, timeline, client satisfaction, etc.
• Represent the organization in workshops and meetings.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Education and related fields, including Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics of Education, Educational Planning and Management, Educational Research and Development, Educational Leadership or other closely related field of study.
• +5 years of research and proposal development experience in educational research and development fields, practically in consultancy services.
• Previous experiences in educational planning/administration, preferably with international institutions
• Previous experiences in leading and managing national level large scale studies
• Deep understanding of the Ethiopian education sector and policy environment,   acquainted with statistical software for data processing.
• Excellent publication and in peer-reviewed journals.

Technical and Other Skills

• Excellent analytical skills,
• Proficiency in English language,
• Proficiency in computer skills;
• Excellent report writing skills in English.
• Abilities of working in tight environment to make things happen within the deadline
• Demonstrated success in creating collaborative relationships with various government and non-government organizations,
