1.         Position Title: –    Specialist, Strategy Planning & Monitoring

            Duty Station: –      Head Office/Addis Ababa

            Availability: –       As soon as possible

Job Purpose:- The purpose of this job is Assist in formulating the Exchange’s strategy, integrating ECX’s strategic plan with the vision and mission of the Exchange, in compiling action plans, analyzing external business environment, anticipating market opportunities as well as risks and analyzing business performance.

SUMMARY MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Collect and compile relevant data from various units of the Exchange and other external stakeholders for the purpose of Strategy Planning & Monitoring ;

·         Compute, synthesize and analyze performance data, periodically, of different divisions;

·         Follow the pattern of events and change in business, and augment short and long term business growth and performance through market analysis;

·         Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and communicate to the Sr. Specialist;

·         Assist in strategy formulation, monitoring and documenting strategic plan execution;

·         Assist in strategic process improvements and communication of strategies;

·         Assist in analyzing business performance, industry trends, existing or new regulatory requirements and their impact on the Exchange;

·         Assist in preparing the Division’s action plan and compile and document;

·         Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• MBA\MA\MSc\BA\BSc Economics, Management, BAIS, Statistics or related field.
• 2/4 years relevant work experience in planning, change management, research or related areas
