Boortmalt Ethiopia P.L.C, a member of Boortmalt n.v among the leading maltsters in the world; a company engaged  in agro-industrial sector and malting barley supply chain development in Ethiopia; Looking for passionate and dynamic professionals with relevant  work experience for the following position:-

Key functions/responsibilities   –

  • Engage in the day to day management of the intermediary store ;
  • Checking the malt barley quality delivered to store  based on the quality parameters set by the company;
  • Ensure the quality checking of the malting barley;
  • Ascertaining the right quantity of malt barley delivered from all areas based on the dispatch documents provided by the transporters;
  • Making sure the malt barley delivered to the store is unloaded from the truck in time and stored in proper arrangement;
  • Follow-up that receiving notes/vouchers are prepared for the right quantity of malt barley delivered to the store;
  • Follow-up of the authorized transfer of malt barley to Boortmalt plant store and to prepare store issue vouchers for PP bags issued to the fields;
  • Engage in the daily reporting and updating of the malt barley delivery; and make sure comprehensive reports of malt barley receiving at the store are reaching to the management of the company;
  • Make sure all store safety equipments provided by the company are in place and functional;
  • Make sure the barley storage is clean and free from rodents and pests to keep the barley for a period of time;
  • Engage in the smooth communication with the Logistic officer and the field staffs on daily basis;
  • Engage in supervision of the assistant store keeper, the daily labors and the guard(s) and report any misconduct to the management for action.

Number of Position:

  • Two

Contract length:       

  • Starting from November 1st for 6 month with possibility of extension depending on results and company needs.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience as store keeper of big company;
  • Computer skills, especially Excel.

Experience

  • At least three years experience

Additional qualification

  •  Good communication skill, Self-driven, report writing skill, organized.

Language                        –

  • Able to communicate in English, Afaan Oromo and Amharic.
