Job Description
You are employed to fulfill the position of Technical Sales Representative to our operations. You are primarily responsible for all matters that contribute to the business development of the company. Your responsibilities are composted but not limited to:
- Approaching and consulting dairy farmers & the private sector active in the dairy sector about the advantages of milking equipment, all other products of MiaVit, DSM, Delaval, small and large milking and milk processing equipment and improved genetic material coming from world’s best Semen research centres. Service and goods meant for dairy farming and fattening business.
- Work intensively towards creating and developing new business relation with dairy, fattening and poultry farmers within Addis Abeba and the regions known to have large number of dairy farmers. Increase sales of cattle feed supplements, milking machines all other items that we carry for dairy farming and fattening.
- Work intensively towards applying and receiving a semen-import license from the authorities for the company.
- Work intensively toward applying and receiving a veterinary drugs import & distribution license from the designated authorities.
- Develop a strategy to outline and reach all dairy processors in Ethiopia. Besides reaching out to these dairy farmers also organizing training and consult them accordingly on the application and the need for cattle supplements in the feed ratio.
Job Requirements
Education
- BSc degree in Animal Science , Veterinary Medicine or Animal Husbandry
Work experience
- At least 2 years work experience in farming or other agriculture field
