Description
The TSR, based in the Northern Region, will demonstrate the value of Pioneer brand of products and facilitate farmers in their buying decision through pull activities of farmers meeting, field days and one to one contacts in existing and developing market. Maintain and expand dealer network to push product in the market and meet sales volume target. Assist Country Leader (CL) in the development of sales plans & strategies aligned with business direction.
Requirements to be met by the suitable candidate :
- Create appropriate awareness and popularize pioneer Brand products in small scale farmers and commercial farms and create demand for pioneer products in Southern Ethiopia
- Conduct and follow up of Product advancement trials, population & fertilizer trials
- Accomplish sales target per set goals to meet company objective
- Render after sales services to customers in Northern Ethiopia
- Assist customers in seed demand planning in west sales region and follow up of seed request
- Selection and training of Pioneer Extension partners, Sales rep, dealers and support existing farmers cooperatives for better distribution of Seeds to farmers.
Qualifications
Education/Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Agronomy\
Agriculture \Horticulture\ Plant Sciences is required with related direct field
sales experience.
