Job Summary: –

The role is responsible for ensuring vehicles, motorbikes and generator are maintained to the highest standard.; the technical competency of mechanics and drivers is monitored and up graded; vehicles, motor bikes are purchased as per the standard specifications and in accordance with Dashen systems, polices, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an up-to-date overview of all vehicles and their particulars (make, type, model, engine/chassis number, vehicle ID, year of production, declaration, invoice, ownership certificate, gift certificate, transferred notes, arrival date at post, insurance, user, location, user etc.)
• Assess the technical condition of vehicles for rehabilitation and propose the required estimate cost for management decision as and when necessary.
• Prepares regular monthly/quarterly report on all vehicles technical condition and cost analysis
• Prepare vehicle maintenance plan for all vehicles, monitor, control and coordinate that maintenance plan is carried out in accordance with the Dashen and manufacturer’s recommendation.
• Ensure all vehicles spare keys are locked in a safe box and monitored.
• Prepare and submit regular inventory of all Dashen owned workshop tools and equipment list
• Manage the inventory of spare parts for vehicle’s, in coordination with Facility Manager, in order to ensure an adequate supply of spares
• Track vehicle and fuel usage and consumption rates, ensure that potential problems or fuel misuse is raised.
• Timely request and follow up fuel requests.
• Administrate vehicles of the central office and timely arrange & allocate company and rental cars.
• Manage relations with vehicle rental vendors and manage vehicle rentals as necessary
• Act as back-up driver when needed.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Required Qualification & Experience

Diploma or level IV in general mechanics or equivalent

At least 4 years’ experience in Engineering or maintenance with solid understanding of maintenance and engineering
