hadero coffee company, is on the process of establishing coffee roasting factory at Jackros (Bole Sub City) , Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. hadero plans to add value on green coffee and supply to local and international market. hadero is looking for highly motivated and experience personnel to fill the following position.

Post Title    :   WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Place of work: Addis Ababa

Salary            : Based on Company scale

Term of employment: Indefinite period (Permanent)

 Key responsibilities

  • Receives materials, supplies, equipment and finished goods; inspects incoming materials for conformity to purchase requisition and checks for shortages, damages, or other discrepancies;
  • Stores materials, supplies and finished goods in the warehouse, raw material stored in raw material warehouse and finished goods stored in finished goods warehouse.
  • Issues and deliver goods upon receipt of authorized delivery order from the General Manager.
  • Prepares payment request for casual laborers for loading/unloading expenses.
  • Issues sacks and rejected good to be sold from store by preparing SIV.
  • Follow up that warehouse doors and windows are strong and lockable.
  • Follow up items that can be easily picked be kept in locked boxes in the store.
  • Ensures that raw material warehouse and finished goods warehouse surrounding are clean and safe.
  • Control the availability of updated firefighting equipment in the store and train all concerned staff on how to use it.
  • Post “NO SMOKING” and other precaution signs wherever required.
  • Notifies to his/her supervisor, when there is breakage, shortage etc. upon delivery of goods ordered.
  • Through perpetual inspection, reports on goods that are damaged, obsolete etc. so that appropriate action shall be taken timely.
  • Maintains and updates a separate “BIN CARD “for raw material and “STOCK CARD “for finished goods of each items in store and keeps them in order.
  • Protects the company’s properties and goods from theft, damage, breakage etc. as a result of negligence, exposure to bad weather etc.
  • Strive to minimize goods handling costs by establishing floor lay-outs, shelves and put received goods at the right place and in orderly manner.
  • Establish an equilibrium stock level by considering Economic order level, lead time and sales and usage of items in consultation with the finance and general manager.
  • Reports to the finance manager and general manager the level of the stock items in store at least once in a week and as may be necessary.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.

Education: BA in Business Fields

Experience: 2+ Years Warehouse Management
