Provide direct administrative assistance to the WASH Director and WASH team

Follow up on issues needing Director’s urgent attention and ensure deadlines are kept

Provide administrative support to the WASH team

Assist with organizing workshops and meetings with different stakeholders

Support to the preparation of, reports, agendas and presentations for project events

Follow-ups on outstanding issues with support office coordinate and follow up purchases, repairs and stationery acquisition

Manage the four vehicles and the drivers at the head office

Represent the WASH team in a pool for admin activities

Documentation of WASH reports, pictures and other relevant materials

Prepare responses to routine correspondence and highlight any issues that require immediate attention and input

Organize and/or attend WASH group management meetings and take minutes

Handle visitors and channel needy cases to regional and national offices

Organize meetings: Make reservations for accommodation and meeting venues. Send invitation letters to participants and confirm availability.

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

Required Professional Experience

Minimum of 8 years for BA; experience in WASH admin related matters is preferable.

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification.

Bachelor of Arts Degree in management, administrative Service Management, Business Administration or related field

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

Able to work with minimum supervision.

Able to articulate and communicate ideas well verbally and in writing.

Fluency in English and local language

Good interpersonal and communication skills (Ability to communicate effectively in English language both orally and in writing, good organizational skills)

Able to work in a cross-cultural environment with a multi-national staff

Persistent, accommodative and active

Proven public relations skills

Proven report/letter writing skills

Computer Literate in Microsoft Office Packages (Excellent Typing or Word Processing Skills using Computers)

Able to articulate and communicate ideas well verbally and in writing

Language Requirements: English

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Fluency in English and local language

Contact (within WV or outside WV)

Good interpersonal and communication skills (Ability to communicate effectively in English language both orally and in writing, good organizational skills)

Frequency of Contact Zonal /Wereda sector offices

Able to work in a cross-cultural environment with a multi-national staff.
