The Forum of Federations is a Canada-based international organization, governed by partners in Africa, Asia, South and North America and Europe, with a mission to strengthen governance and peace around the globe. In Ethiopia the Forum has been registered under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2008. Since that time it has implemented a wide range of programs for governance capacity building, dialogue, leadership development, and policy change. It has a strong track record of effectively working at the senior-most levels of government on highly sensitive issues. It also works closely with a full range of governance stakeholders, including political parties, media, academia and civil society. It currently conducts projects on elections support, Transformative Scenario Planning and a multi-dimensional project, Strengthening Federalism Governance and Pluralism in Ethiopia that deals with intergovernmental relations, fiscal decentralization and constitutional matters.
