The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2019, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is undergoing institutional reform to enhance its credibility and capacity and conduct free, impartial, and credible elections. Through the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), NEBE has contracted ABH Partners to provide human resource recruitment and management services.

Accordingly, ABH partners would like to invite applicants who meet the below requirements to apply for the position of Property Registration and Supervisor. 

The Property Registration and Supervisor will provide property management support to the NEBE office.

Required number: One

Reports to: Finance and Budget Manager

Duty station: NEBE Head Quarter, Addis Ababa

Duration: 12 months with a possibility of extension

Salary:  Attractive (Non Civil Service Scale)

Expected Start Date: Immediately after obtaining the contract

Major Responsibilities

·         Responsible for the activities of receiving/ issuing of items on system and compare the inventory items against the on hand in store;

·         Responsible for Fixed asset management;

·         Ensure that the necessary cross checks on the supporting documents are done and reconciled before posting into the IFMIS system ;

·         Responsible for all paperwork relating to items movement and file them based on transaction types (purchase order receipt, petty cash purchase receipt, move order issue, miscellaneous issue etc.) properly at proper place.;

·         Participate in work place improvement teams where required;

·         Participate in the periodic physical inventory counting of items in stores;

·         Ensure proper inventory and fixed assets closings are done on time and reported regularly;

·         Perform any other duties that maybe assigned by supervisor;

·         Must be able to work flexible hours; late hours and weekends as necessary;

Job Requirements

·         BA degree in property management, accounting, management, economics, supply chain management, or in a relevant field.

·         3 years of related work experience

·         Working in IFMIS system is preferred.

·         Proficiency in Word, Power point, Outlook and Excel.

·         Detail oriented and good problem-solving skills;

·         The ability to remain highly organized while handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines;

·         Excellent reporting and document handling skills;

·         Willingness to adhere to all principles of confidentiality;

·         Ability to handle sensitive issues and address inclusion matters with integrity;

·         The ability to complete tasks with limited supervision;

·         Fluency in Amharic and English required.
