ABOUT THE JOB  

 

The job holder is responsible for the overall activities of overseeing various legal and human capital affairs of the Group. She/he should continuously undertake legal and human capital issues generally in the industry and particularly in the Group to prioritize attractive sectors and good reputation. Moreover, the incumbent should prepare trainings for the employee to enhance their level of Knowledge, skill, commitment and attitude.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Undertaking the planning, coordination, guiding, assisting, directing, monitoring and evaluation of the overall HR and Legal activities of the Group.
  • Developing HR and Legal affairs strategy, policy, procedures and guidelines of the Group,
  •  Preparing HR and Legal Issues annual plan and budget in line with the strategy and report periodically,
  • Setting frameworks and standards for the development of HR and Legal for the Group,
  • Providing HR and Legal consultancy services pertaining to the provision of policy and procedure,
  • Initiating the development and implementation of new and emerging HR activities
  • Serving as key catalyst in identifying HR and Legal affairs related challenges and devising strategic and operational solutions in collaboration with other functions,
  • Plan, conduct TNA and Write a comprehensive proposal and present to the CEO for the execution by collaborating with different stakeholders of the Group,
  • Conduct robust parameters to trainer selection,
  • Communicating concerned parties about the training,
  • Ensuring that the training venue is booked and ready for the training session,
  • Sending out pre-course information to participants,
  • Compiling the training objectives of the participants,
  • Ensuring that the training material is up-to-date,
  •  Helping training manager or trainer to create training support materials,
  •  Collect training feedback and Prepare training reports for further improvement,
  • Handle all Internal and External legal issues of the Group,
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents of the Group,
  • Provide legal guidance to internal departments to ensure their activities,
  • Overseeing the legal aspects of business operations and transactions,
  • Managing relationships with external legal organs and regulatory authorities,
  • Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements of the Group,
  • Play a role in a variety of industries, as governmental agencies require businesses to comply with different regulations and standards,
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to management on all legal issues PLC’s under the Group,
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws,
  • Conducting legal research and staying updated on changes in laws and regulations of the industry,
  • Responsible for monitoring and/or advising on all legal matters, commercial contracts, and agreements.
  • Performing other related duties as may be required

Education and Qualification

  • BA/MA in Law/ Human Resource Management/Management

Additional Skill

  • Proven experience in managing a legal team, Strong legal research and analytical skills,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines,
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts,
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance,

  • Analyzing current HCM strategies within an organization, evaluating current market trends and management strategies, helping organizations implement performance management solutions

Relevant Experience

  • 2/10 years of relevant experience out of which 3/4 years on Directorial position of relevant experience respectively.
