ABOUT THE JOB
The COO is with broad responsibilities that range from managing the Group’s day-to-day operations to providing strategic advice. He/she oversee daily administrative and operational functions, reporting directly to the CEO and being second person for company affairs.
The Group COO of is a senior-level executive who provides management, leadership and vision to ensure the organization meets its short-term and long-term objectives. He/she help create enduring policies and a company culture that strengthens operational efficiency and generates revenue.
He/she manage the ongoing operations and processes of a business. The COOs control various business operations and implement the Group’s strategic initiatives. He/she oversee the creation of budgets and financial reports, create strategic goals and direct employees toward achieving the company’s vision and mission.
On the absence of CEO, the Chief Operating Officer automatically handles most of the internal and external affairs of the Group and usually has extensive experience with designing operating strategies and building teams to achieve the goals.
He/she also create reports to inform the Chief Executive Officer and other stakeholders of the company’s performance and all PLCs under the group are report to the COO directly.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily business and administrative operations and improving operating procedures for optimal efficiency of the Group,
- Assessing and enhancing the efficiency of internal and external operational processes of the Group,
- Leading and motivating staff to achieve sales and organizational objectives,
- Overseeing the recruitment process to attract the best candidates and reduce employee turnover,
- Mentoring and inspiring employees to key into the vision of management,
- Establishing policies that improve and promote company vision and culture,
- Evaluating company performance and recommend strategies to improve result,
- Collaborating with management and other stakeholders to raise capital and carry out other business-expanding strategies.

About You
Education and Qualification
- BA/MA degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or industry-relevant equivalent
Additional Skill
- Proven experience in a senior executive role,
- In-depth understanding of the industry and the workings of different departments of companies, including finance, sales and human resources,
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills,
- Knowledge of data analysis,
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills,
- Strategic planning and business development
- Experience in budgeting and sales
Relevant Experience
- 15/17 years of relevant experience out of which 5/7 years on Directorial position of relevant experience respectively.
