About the Job

Job Description:

  • As the Sales Operations Head for FMCG Sales, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing sales operations within the Sales and Marketing department. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating sales processes, driving operational efficiency, and supporting the achievement of sales targets for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement standardized sales processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Streamline order management, forecasting, and inventory control processes to ensure smooth operations and minimize stock outs.
  • Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in the sales cycle and implement solutions to enhance productivity.

Sales Strategy Execution:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to execute sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor the implementation of sales plans, track key performance indicators, and provide insights to drive performance improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and product bundling to maximize sales revenue.

Sales Analytics and Reporting:

  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to generate actionable reports and recommendations.
  • Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market share, and competitive analysis.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and enhance sales forecasting accuracy.

Sales Team Support and Enablement:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide the necessary tools, resources, and training to support their sales efforts.
  • Ensure effective utilization of CRM systems and sales enablement technologies to enhance productivity and Salesforce effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards and performance metrics to monitor individual and team performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Import, Audit and Finance, to align sales operations with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop promotional plans, support product launches, and ensure effective communication of product features and benefits.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to optimize demand planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.

About You

Qualifications

  • BA Degree in Marketing management or business related fields.

Experience

  • Above 6 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • FMCG Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of FMCG sales dynamics, market trends, and distribution channels.
  • Process Optimization: Proven experience in streamlining sales processes, improving operational efficiency, and implementing sales automation tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing sales data, conducting market research, and generating actionable insights.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership abilities to guide and motivate a sales operations team effectively.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings, and influence stakeholders.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems, sales analytics tools, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
