CIVIL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER 45 views

We are seeking a skilled and experienced civil structural engineer to join our team and take charge of overseeing our construction projects. In this role, you will divide your time between our office, where you will be involved in designing and planning project details, and the construction site, where you will provide technical construction guidance to the projects:

• Review design & contract documents to understand the project and use it in the project’s execution;
• Support to various procurement processes for final design, specification, BoQ, cost estimation;
• Assist the construction progress of single or multiple infrastructure (park entrance gates, ecolodge sites, park camping sites, landscaping works, and others); and for construction supervision;
• Lead the process to develop and produce innovative cost-effective construction designs using local construction materials, based on best practices in construction and building design and ensure compliance with green building standards;
• Monitoring of construction projects (overall follow-up to construction activities by regular site visits and technical meetings);
• Coordinate certification of payments/variations after verification;
• Monitor overall construction expenditures and progress certificates;
• Maintain organized and detailed construction files, project records and periodic (monthly, weekly, daily …) project’s execution & status reports;
• Organize and coordinate substantial and final reception of works after verifying the correction of all defects during the Defects Liability Period (DLP);
• Check the detail specification and BoQ of priority projects;
• Evaluate and analyze the productivity of key resources with respect to unit cost of respective activities;
• Observe and inspects ongoing construction work to ensure compliance with the approved designs and drawings;
• Supervise and perform testing of materials and construction activities to ensure quality as per the Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP);
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations, work with consultants/contractors on corrective actions;
• Check & support Interim Payments Certificates process approved by the Consultant/Contractor;
• Maintain quality control records and documentation;
• Build and maintain healthy and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
• Provide technical support to project design team members as needed;
• Liaise and work cooperatively with site managers, clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders so that the project can be carried out efficiently and effectively;
• Good English Communication and writing Skills (having the ability to speak Chinese language is a bones);
• Hands-on experience with MS Office, AutoCAD, Etabs & related engineering softwares.
